The day has FINALLY come and H&M has made it’s debut in Australia, and what better place to welcome the Swedish retailer than Australia’s fashion capital, Melbourne. The flagship store is one of the biggest H&M stores worldwide, occupying three floors and almost 4,500 square metres of space at the Melbourne GPO building.

The eager wait to be one of the first to check out the space involved a massive line of 3,000+ shoppers and a wait of more than 3 hours. After being open for nearly a week, there is still a line out the front of the building to get the chance to be one of the first to sport the iconic retailer.

H&M offers fashion and quality at the best price (so no wonder there’s still a line out the door!). Not only does H&M showcase their own brand they also feature guest-designers collaborations to include collections by Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Versace and Roberto Cavalli plus iconic collaborations with Marimekko, Madonna and Kylie Minogue.
