February has brought a new partnership together. The popular Dimmi online booking site has now partnered with Australia’s leading airline company, Qantas to bring online booking to a new platform.

Dimmi has quickly become Australia’s number one go to for booking a restaurant online. Their customer database is in the hundreds of thousands, so it’s no wonder Qantas has jumped on board. For those who are Qantas Frequent Flyers, you now earn 100 points per person when making an online booking (and must dine at the restaurant before receiving your points).

Not only does this help with restaurants getting more “bums on seats”, but it also rewards the consumer by getting them 100 points closer to their next trip. Being a Frequent Flyer myself I’m keen to explore opportunities to increase my points and solely book on the Qantas site.

The second stage of the partnership is still under way, however Qantas will notify the customer after making a flight booking on some of the fantastic restaurants in the area they are traveling to so they can make their restaurant reservations all at once. Qantas & Dimmi have agreed to only have the top restaurants on their site, which means only restaurants who rate 8/10 or higher from Dimmi are able to have their restaurant bookable on the Qantas site.
