Brunswick Street is quickly becoming the new desired spot for trendy and new restaurants and cafes to open. There is already a vast variety of beer, wine and cocktails being mixed in funky new joints, however Fitzroy has brought a new fad to the area with ‘G&Tea‘.
Offering 10 tea style cocktails mixed with one of their 80+ varieties of different Gin’s, this is somewhere you’d want to head to try something new. If you’re there for the long haul, enjoy their jugs to share, made from tea based drinks.
Barman Andy Griffiths has created the custom menu using his very own handmade concoctions of tinctures, bitters and tea infusions.
If you’re a first timer, and don’t know what to order, I’d recommend going with the ‘French 750’ (which is a jug to share), made with Bombay, chardonnay, quince, green tea, which is then carbonated and served in a champagne bottle.
Open from 1pm until 11pm daily, happy hour kicks off at 3pm until 6pm offering $5 tap beers and cider, $7 G&T and $16 cocktail jugs.
