Soul Press is your go to place for the ultimate healthy treat! With two amazing locations (Brighton & Edithvale), anything from the menu is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. My first visit came post Yoga class, and was after something delicious (yet healthy). Living close to the Edithvale location, I decided to pop in and check out their menu.
ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE
This is more of a take-away place than dine in, however there are tables available if you wish to take a load off and relax. I decided to stick around and check out the clientele and enjoy the morning sunshine.
Inside, the space is filled primarily by the large bar/take-away counter, plus a hand full of tables along the wall. The service from the girls behind the counter were friendly and welcoming, striking up conversations with each customer as they ordered.
If you’ve never heard of Soul Press, take a quick look at their Instagram account and we promise you will as hooked as us. Raw cakes, fresh pressed juices, Acai bowls, healthy treats and a few substantial items fill their all natural colourful menu.
Since I was after something a bit more filling, I decided to give their ‘Avo Superfood Smash – The Original’ served on delicious rye bread, topped with lemon chia & paleo sprinkle. It was probably one of the better smashed avo’s I’ve had recently and absolutely loved the nut topping, which added a slight crunchy finish. The bread was fresh and lightly toasted, and finished with a bit of lemon, this was a winning dish for me!
