A spur of the moment trip down the coast led me to Seaford, which was my first time visiting. I decided to do a quick google search for somewhere to get a quick cup of coffee between errands, and stumbled across The Shed Cafe.

ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE

This super cute little beach cafe is located just off the Nepean in the heart of Seaford. Outside, a few small tables fill the sidewalk enclosed by a wooden fence, which follows through to the wooden front door.

Inside, the cafe is quite small with only a hand full of tables along the wall. Dark concrete floors, wooden tables and rustic decor fill the dark space. Their coffee bar instantly catches your attention when you walk in with a large food cabinet and coffee products filling the back wall.

The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment I walked through the door. Menus and coffee orders were taken straight away, with coffee arriving shortly after.

FOOD

I was quite surprised with the size of the menu, with so many amazing dishes to choose from. I actually didn’t intend on eating, but decided to get something quick for an early lunch to enjoy with my coffee.

Since I wasn’t after anything over the top, I went with ‘Scrambled Eggs’ served on sourdough and a side of mushrooms. I found the bread quite hard, making it difficult to cut and eat. The mushrooms were amazing, well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Overall, this was a great little find. Although the food was just okay, the coffee was great, perfect location and the staff were friendly.
