The 2017 Royal Melbourne Show is back again this year, held at the Melbourne Showgrounds from Saturday 23 Sept until the 30th of September. This is Victoria’s largest and most iconic annual event, attracting more than 500,000 people throughout the 11 day event.
The show features Victoria’s amazing agriculture through entertainment, educational and interactive activities for the whole family to enjoy. Favoured by most is the animal precinct, where visitors can get up close to hundreds of farm animals.
Foodies beware, there are some pretty amazing chefs heading to the show, with pop-up restaurants, masterclasses and cooking demos. For the kids and kids at heart, the carnival back with an overload of rides, games and live stunt performances. Finish the night with fireworks before grabbing a quick drink at the High Spirits Cocktail Bar before heading home.
