With one of the first nice days hitting Melbourne, it would only be fitting to find a rooftop bar and get comfy for an afternoon of sunshine and drinks. The rooftop is perched up on the 4th floor of space with high walls which unfortunately blocks the beautiful view given of the city.

Campari House is made up of four levels, with the restaurant on the ground floor, a function area on the first floor, a lounge on the second floor, and the rooftop on the top floor.

This is your typical rooftop setting with fake grass, funky artwork, wine barrel stands for the umbrellas and wooden wall features. Scattered throughout the space are high top bar tables and a large wooden bar filled with all your favourite beers on tap.

As the drinks were flowing, we thought it would be best to get something small to eat just to hold us over until dinner. The rooftop menu is quite limited with your basic bar food, so we decided to the with the ‘Campari Plate – Chefs Selection of Antipasto’ which consisted of a variety of cured meats, breads and pickled goods.

The waitress had signed us up for their Campari House membership where you receive a variety of different benefits from. Some include reduced prices on house wine and beer, birthday specials and complimentary room hire fee in their function space.

I’ve heard that their wood oven pizzas are extremely popular so will need to come back and have dinner in their ground floor restaurant to test these bad boys out. Until then, I will continue to enjoy a cold glass of white wine on the rooftop in good company.
