Our stay in Munch was at the beautiful 5-star hotel, Mandarin Oriental Munich, located in the heart of the Old Town. The hotel was under construction during our stay so weren’t able to fully experience what it had to offer, however from what we’ve seen, the reopening this November is going to be amazing.

Mandarin Oriental is part of a luxury hotel chain, offering world class accommodation, service and comfort to it’s guests. The hotel offers only 48 rooms and 25 suites overing some of the best views of the city. We had booked a Deluxe Room, which offered a very comfy goose down bed, beautiful high ceilings, cherry wood furnishings, light parquet floors and a soft cream & taupe palette. The bathroom is stunning with everything marble, featuring heated floors & towel rails, separate bathtub and shower and a beautiful view of the city.

Although we weren’t able to experience the hotel to it’s fullest, the rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the city. We were given a complimentary drink each to enjoy, which we used on their terrace area to get a good first look at the city with the sun setting in the distance.
