With a few days away for work in Brisbane, we stayed at the centrally located Four Points by Sheraton in the city centre. Everything is within walking distance, including shops, Queen Street Mall, the river and amazing restaurants.

GUEST ROOMS

I find this hotel caters more for business than leisure, with basic amenities geared primarily for the corporate clientele. We booked a Superior Plus room which offered their signature Four Points by Sheraton Four Comfort Bed, which was ideal for a good nights sleep. The room was bright and airy with a contemporary design, overlooking the city.

With our room, we were also give complimentary full buffet breakfast, 2 standard drinks and a tray of canapes each evening in Sazerac. Two complimentary bottles of still/sparkling water were also given per day.

Although the room was quite small, it did offer everything needed for a corporate guest. A small work station with amenities sat in the corner next to a large arm chair and 40in wall mounted TV. The bathroom was your standard bathroom set up with stand alone shower and basic toiletries.

DINING

The hotel offer two separate dining facilities onsite:

  • The Eatery – all-day dining – international cuisine in a relaxed and modern atmosphere
  • Sazerac – Brisbane’s highest rooftop bar, located on the 30th floor of the hotel. Offers panoramic views of the city whilst enjoying cocktails and nibbles.
