We stayed here a few weeks back for a good friends wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Since we had such a large group, we had booked out the whole farmstay, which made walking to the ceremony very convenient. It’s a bit of a drive to get there, however once at the top of the hill on a secluded farm with a million dollar view, the drive was well worth it! It’s no wonder they decided to host their ceremony with a beautiful natural backdrop like this.

The farmstay offered 7 different cabins all with a different interior set up, which were perched up along different spots on the hill to ensure each cabin had a perfect view of the beautiful sunset.

There are an endless amount of flowers surrounding the restaurant and reception areas, which were all in full bloom when we arrived. The restaurant area boasted a beautiful water feature out the front, which was the main focus when you are first driving up. Great first impression in my eyes! After the ceremony we were all asked to make our way to the restaurant area where some canapes and beverages were served. The food was decide bite size items, and were perfect to get us through until the dinner.

I’ve heard great things about the restaurant’s breakfast and lunch menu, which is only open to the public when there isn’t a wedding onsite. Unfortunately we weren’t able to try any of the food (except a few canapes), but the service was spot on and very hospitable.

The cabins all offered a different set up, which all included 3 bedrooms with either doubles, singles or bunk beds to cover all groups.  Our cabin had a master bedroom with a queen bed and an en suite, a room with a queen bed and the last room had 3 single beds and a set of bunk beds. There was an additional bathroom area for the other two rooms to utilise.

Our cabin also offered a kitchenette area with stove, dining area and a lounge area with couches. The size was quite decent for the amount paid.

For those looking to traveling with children, this is a great place to stay. The cabins are spread out enough that the kiddies can run around without bothering others staying at the farmstay. There is also a small playground area to spend some time at if the kiddies get bored.

Overall, this is a great place to stay for families and couples. It’s completely secluded from the real world and offers complete relaxation.
